Oliveira's Peabody Sushibar & Grill | Our Story

From Everett to Peabody, Over 20 Years of Flavor

Founded in 2004 by Edilson Oliveira in Everett, Massachusetts, Oliveira's Restaurant was built on a passion for sharing the flavors and hospitality of Brazil. The name "Oliveira" was chosen not only because it is Edilson's family name, but also as a symbol of connection and belonging for the many Brazilian families who share that name and similar stories of hard work, sacrifice, and hope. What started as a small Brazilian specialty store soon evolved into a restaurant dedicated to bringing people together through great food and warm hospitality. For more than 20 years, Oliveira's has proudly served authentic Brazilian cuisine, premium grilled meats, and now a complete sushi menu, creating a welcoming place where guests can feel at home.
The Fire-Grilled Tradition

The Fire-Grilled Tradition

Churrasco is a Brazilian ritual, and Oliveira's honors it with premium cuts slow-roasted on the spit, from buttery picanha to smoky fraldinha. Enjoy them from our buffet or order à la carte.

Alongside the churrasco, Oliveira's serves a full sushi program — specialty rolls, nigiri, and sashimi crafted with the same care as the fire-grilled cuts.

Warm wood floors, red chairs, and white tablecloths anchor a dining room where a black-and-white Christ the Redeemer watches over every table. Intimate in a way larger churrascarias simply aren't.

Guests don't just remember the food — they come back asking for Davi, Luciene, and Dani by name. That kind of personal connection isn't trained in; it reflects a culture where every table is treated like family.
